Melissa Sweeney (she/her) grew up in a small town in Connecticut and got her B.A. in English at Central Connecticut State University in 2017. Before, during, and after that time, she drew and wrote about her characters as a dubious coping mechanism. As of summer 2025, she has successfully launched 7 Kickstarters to fund the printing of her books and tie-in merch, raising nearly $40,000 in the span of 6 years.
